Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin testified in the identity theft trial of David Kernell, a former University of Tennessee student and the son of a Democratic Tennessee legislator. Palin testified that the personal e-mail account into which Kernell is accused of hacking was mainly used by the former Republican Vice-Presidential candidate to communicate with her family during the 2008 campaign.
